Biography:
Victor Von Doom, commonly known as Doctor Doom, is a prominent antagonist in the Marvel Universe. Born in Latveria to a Romani mother and a father who was a physician, Doom's genius intellect became apparent early in life.
His brilliance in science and technology led him to study at Empire State University, where he clashed with Reed Richards. An experiment designed to contact his deceased mother went awry, scarring his face and leading to his expulsion.
Seeking knowledge and power, Doom traveled the world, eventually finding a Tibetan monastery where he forged his iconic armor, a suit which he believed was perfect, but due to his impatience was forged while the metal was still cooling, leading to his initial scarring.
Returning to Latveria, he overthrew the government and established himself as its absolute ruler. He frequently clashes with heroes, especially the Fantastic Four, due to his perceived injustices and his insatiable quest for ultimate power and recognition.
Doom is a complex figure, driven by ego, trauma, and a belief that he is the only one capable of leading humanity to a better future, even if it requires imposing his will upon them.
